Overall Business Process Flow
UIBusiness.com was setup to provide an online/secure platform for business owners and business executives in the USA and India to trade on. The complete process flow is represented in the flow chart here. The green boxes represent activities that have to be completed exclusively on UIBusiness.com, while the blue boxes are optional services provided to customers who choose the sales support option from uibusiness.com. The red boxes are actions that need to be completed by individual subscribers and is completely outside UIBusiness.com’s charter.
Register: Go to the Register / Login tab on the top right corner of the home screen. The system will prompt you to enter your business information. At this stage you will also have the option to create your own web page and upload pictures and other information.
Create Inquiry: To create and inquiry as a buyer, you can use the Post an Enquiry’ tab and complete all the fields regarding your inquiry like industry, quantity, expected price and delivery date. You can also upload pictures, specs, drawings, etc to help sellers provide you with the best possible offer in response.
Submit Offers / Bids: You can browse inquiries by industry and submit offers OR you can create your own sell offers by going to the ‘Selling Offers’ tab on the home page. While submitting an offer you will be prompted to include quantity, price, delivery dates, etc.
Negotiations: When responding to any inquiry or offer on uibusiness.com, you will have the ability to provide your email and phone details so that your potential partner subscriber can enter into a discussion with you, if required.
Sale Agreement: You can choose to have your own sales contract or use the templates provided by uibusiness.com. A sales agreement is highly recommended for high value (> $5000) deals.
Proof of Funds: This option is applicable only to those subscribers that have availed ‘Sales Support’ from uibsiness.com. The Buyer in any closed transaction has to immediately deposit the purchase value with UIBusiness.com’s bank account in the Buyer’s country. That money will stay in the account until the transaction has been completed as per the terms of the Sale Agreement.
Bank Loan: This option is applicable only to those subscribers that have availed ‘Sales Support’ from uibsiness.com. Once the Buyer’s payment is received by uibusiness.com we will intimate the Seller. That is the signal for the seller to go ahead and start fulfilling the order. UIBusiness will also arrange for any loans the Seller may need in the Sellers country through UI Business’ bank in the Seller’s country.
Acceptance/ Inspection: Buyer will need to make own arrangements to inspect the product before it is shipped out of the Sellers country, if needed. In some cases UIBusiness maybe to provide some assistance by recommending experts or agencies that will provide the certification, but this is totally Buyer’s responsibility.
Prepare Goods/ Perform Services: It is the Sellers responsibility to make, produce, manufacture, source, or perform other such tasks required to fulfill the sale agreement and deliver the agreed upon shipment to the Buyer.
Ship / Deliver: This option is applicable only to those subscribers that have availed ‘Sales Support’ from uibsiness.com. The Seller will contact UI Business’ approved Shipping partner and provide them with all necessary shipping documents.
Accept Delivery: The Buyer has to inform both Seller and UI Business of receipt of the deliverable in good condition.
Receive Payment: This option is applicable only to those subscribers that have availed ‘Sales Support’ from UIBusiness.com. Once the sale is completed as the Sale Agreement UI Business will pay the Seller in Sellers currency at the price agreed upon in the Sale agreement. Any foreign exchange fluctuations will be borne by UIBusiness.
